arrived ireland

hey all. after 2 mechanics, 2 tow trucks, 2 days sitting at the mechanics in pamplona, and a repair bill that cost more than the value of the car.... (ugh), i was able to drive through the night and arrive at the ferry port by the required time.  we have finally arrived home (a few days ago. i meant to post sooner but havent had internet access. so sorry for leaving you all hanging :) ) future pics and camino "fill-in" posts coming when i get internet back at my caravan. thx. :) kaybee

    Congratulations on finishing. I have read hundreds of blogs on walking the Camino, but yours is the first to make we want to stay home! You persisted in the face of great adversity, quite an achievement.

    hahaha.lol. "yours is the first to make me want to stay at home". no, it was really difficult, but it was good. i think the fact that it was so difficult made it easier to clear my head from all my academic stressors that had built up over the years, etc, because it gave me different types of problems to focus on all the time. and some of the problems led to being able to have a good laugh when you look back on them because some of the situations were so ridiculous, you just wanted to groan.
